So my usual genre...

I am not an all round book worm as such, I tend have particular tastes, and although I have read many novels my favorite genre is generally crime fiction. I read a lot of Patricia Cornwell, Kathy Reichs, James Patterson - Alex Cross & Lindsey Boxer series, Karin Slaughter and Kathryn Fox being my most popular. I am up to date with all of them except the Alex Cross series, he is slightly ahead of me at present.

I've read the Hannibal series by Thomas Harris, and The Bone Collector by Jeffery Deaver, which as I'm sure you know are big time movie adaptations now. Also worth a good read if your into that sort of nightmare inducing story like I am.

Several years ago I read a great little book called How I Paid For College by Marc Acito, a story of sex, theft, friendship, musical theater and discovering yourself. It's definitely worth a read if you should come across it. I know it's always stuck with me.

I have indulged myself with the Twilight Saga and am about to embark upon Host, also by Stephanie Meyer.

I have recently read the 50 Shades of Grey trilogy, and have now gotten myself rather into the erotic romance novel genre, having just read Ninety Days of Genevieve by Lucinda Carrington.
However, I have read the intriguing erotic novels by Sarah Waters, Tipping the Velvet and Fingersmith - both made into TV drama's and available on DVD I believe. Though there are other's by this author too.

So as you can see, I have fairly eclectic taste in books, and tend to read what ever I fancy at the time, along side my old faithful's the crime fiction.

I intend to tell you what I thought about the books I have read recently and ones I will read, and you can see if you think the same.
